10 Things About School Life That We Will Never Forget

10 Things About School Life That We Will Never Forget

School life was the best time we have ever had in our life. When tensions only meant studying for exams and work only meant homework, school life was the time we cherish with all our heart now. While in school, we all wanted to grow up and go to work like mom and dad and here we are yearning to go back to school now that we have jobs in hand.

Do you miss your school life too? Here are 10 things about school life that we can never forget.

1. Troubling the teachers

Remember, guys? When the teacher asked us to shut up and we purposely raised our levels of noise to annoy teachers. So much fun!

2. Troubling the class monitor

This was another favourite task of all the mischievous students in the class, isn’t it? Every time the teacher left the class and the class monitor took charge, the noise level increased to double. Because irritating someone was so much fun!

3. Monitor writing your name on the blackboard when you talk

And then the monitor got pissed off and wrote your name on the blackboard! That meant some serious scolding and bashing from the class teacher in the next lecture! 

4. “Are maine kuch nahi kiya”

And the name being written on the blackboard was instantly followed by the patent reaction, “Are maine kuch nahi kiya”! 😛

5. Punishments

Punishments in school had their own fun too! While some asked you to raise your hands or stand on the bench, some were too impatient to let you remain in the class. Thus, “Get out of the class”!

6. “Get your parents to school tomorrow”

And when throwing you out of the class still did not bring peace and relief to the teacher, the most severe punishment was to get our parents to school. And, that meant lots and lots of complaints!

7. Open day

The term ‘Open Day’ is a horror in itself! In fact, that was the only thing that brought some fear to the mischievous gangs in class!

8. The PT Period

Ah, how can we forget the PT period? The time when teachers took us to the playground so we could play, exercise, run and what not! And, there also used to be an excitement for wearing the PT uniform, isn’t it?

9. Fun during off lectures

Off periods were literally like a mini picnic! No words can explain the joy of getting a lecture off because the teacher was absent!

10. Vacations

Last but not the least, vacations! That was the best thing about school life, agree?
